Mazunte Occasional Chair

The Mazunte occasional chair riffs off a functional but extremely comfortable low chair I enjoyed using while staying on the Oaxaca coast in Mexico.

The two piece, stackable frame was hand shaped with rasps and spoke shaves to achieve a smooth, elegant form that feels inviting and warm to touch. The low seating position and laid back geometry is designed for relaxing on the deck while enjoying the last rays of the setting sun.
