Simulated Natures
Painted in 1991/92, these pieces involved pouring multiple, thin layers of paint on a horizontal canvas, allowing them to blend and disperse creating an interesting and suggestive surface tone/colour with no representational intent - disrupted with dragged or drizzled lines of paint.
Titles allude to natural features, events or sensations in response to the completed works.
