Inspired by the protective layered architecture of giant clam and oyster shells, the Conchiolin* Console Table explores ideas of growth and transformation.

Overlapping elements, constructed from micro-laminated smoked oak veneer, are sculpted into linear rhythmic forms, delicately balanced across the two asymmetrical components. A thin seam of unsmoked oak — a remnant of the wood's original colour — flows across the outer surface of both components, forming a physical and visual bond across the piece.
